The puzzling past

The bedrock in Nambucca Heads in NSW has gorgeous formations in it. It almost appears to be fossilized wood. However, it is simply the work of erosion of sand around ancient rocks, formed millions of years ago from geological pressures. This huge, jutting monolith stands on the edge of the shoreline, right on the headland , sculpted into a gorgeous piece of natural artwork by wind and rain
